2025 Versatility Awards

How to earn a RTPC Versatilty award

First you must participate on our Facebook page by posting and bragging about your dog's accomplishments including posting photos or videos. The more the merrier as our club members love to see what these little dogs can accomplish. 
Beautiful portraits photos are encouraged as well as themed photos. 

The Requirements  

Achievement Award

5 titles earned in at least three different titling events. 

Excellence Award

10 titles earned in at least five different titling events. 

Master Award

15 titles in seven different titling events. 

Champion Award 

One completed title as follows - OTCH, UD, MACH, RACH, Scentwork Detective, NACSW NW3, RATch. 

Specialty Award 

Specialty Versatility Award will offered to the one AKC purebred Russell Terrier who has the most titles in one particular event. 

Specialty Award will be offered to the one AKC purebred Russell Terrier who is became number one in stats in one particular event. For example, the Russell Terrier who ended up being number one year end in a barn hunt division, or in Fast Cat, dock diving, rally etc.

The following performance events are eligible for the versatility award - 

Agility, CGC, coursing ability test, Farmdog, FastCat, Obedience, Rally, Scentwork, Therapy Dog, Tracking, Trick Dog, Flyball, Barn Hunt, Dock Diving, Earthdog, NASDA, AKC Fetch, AKC temperament, FItDog. 

*** Please note that you do not have to have the actual AKC certificate. A copy of the form that you completed and passed the actual test is sufficent. Many exhibitors don't pay AKC the $32 for the certificate. We are good accepting copies. 

There will be RTPC certificates awarded in each versatility level and for the Specialty awards. RTPC Trophies awarded for the excellence, master and champion levels. 

All dogs receiving an award will be featured in our 2025 Versatility Award section of our website. 

We will post a PDF application at the year end of the 2025 season.
